A few more Indie Grits Highlights

While most of this year’s programming happens along Main Street’s downtown corridor, Indie Grits takes its opening celebration to the trendy neighborhood of Cottontown. The War Mouth, Indah Coffee and Curiosity Coffee Bar will all have bands playing, offering a stacked, S.C.-centric slate — from the recklessly careening garage rock outfit Dumb Doctors to the pretty but fiery folk-rock band Stagbriar, from the smartly confrontational poet/emcee Demetrius DeeSixx Similien to exemplary songwriters Hunter Park (playing with She Returns From War) and Rachel Kate.
